Kristine Froseth Cast in TNT’s Let The Right One In

Kristine Froseth has been cast in the lead female role in TNT‘s Let The Right One In TV series. Model / Actress Froseth will portray Eli, a physical young female vampire that comes to befriend Henry, a bullied young boy. Eli comes to live in the small Vermont town that Henry lives in. Soon after her and her taciturn caretaker’s arrival, a series of strange attacks and murders take place.

The role of Henry and the caretaker have not been cast yet. With the lead role cast, Henry and the caretaker’s casting should follow in the next few months.

The official plot synopsis of the Let the Right One In TV pilot (based on the novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist):

Let the Right One In is an eerie drama about a young boy, long tormented by his classmates, who finds solace in a friendship with a charismatic female vampire who appears to be near his age. The vampire settles into the boy’s small Vermont town with her mysterious caretaker, just as a series of bizarre murders begins attracting the attention of law enforcement.

The Let the Right One In TV pilot episode will be produced by Carl Molinder (producer of Alfredson’s film) and Alex Brunner. The Let the Right One In TV pilot episode will be executive produced by Davis, Simon Oakes, Becky Clements, and Marty Adelstein.  The Let the Right One In TV pilot episode was written Jeff Davis.
